Who comes around on a special night?! SANTA comes around on a special night! We are so excited for Christmas around here we can hardly contain it! We have a l-o-n-g list of the things we love about Christmas, but family time, gift giving, and cookies are definitely part of the top 10. This Santa Cookie Kit hits all 3! Take some time to visit friends and give them all the ingredients to a perfect family night full of Christmas carols and decorating holiday cookies, or simply enjoy it yourself!

The supremely talented Leah of January + May designed these CUTE prints! {Everything she touches turns to gold – seriously check her out!}
We thought we would do this with our family as well as make them into neighbor gifts, so we just asked the printers to make multiple copies of everything except the family invite. Oh, yeah! We have an invite to get your kiddos excited as well as a tag to put on your neighbor gift. Want an insider tip? We love printing through FedEx Office Online (use code CJN715 to get 15% off of ANY order, or to get 20% off of an order over $150, use code CJN721)
The idea behind this activity is that you make a sort of cookie “assembly line” where everyone has a job. Maybe the mom has the job of icing the cookie {Who can take a plain day… ahem, or cookie… and make it magical? Must be SANTA!} then it moves down the line collecting more decoration as it goes! You can do as many Santas as you like, or just one Santa and his 8 reindeer! Supplies Needed:
Sugar Cookies (Or pre-made dough for your neighbors) White Icing Mini Chocolate Chips – Sparkling eyes Red Hots – Rosy Nose (Santa and Rudolf) Coconut Flakes – Beard Red Sprinkles – Santa Hat (the sugar sprinkles are the best) Mini Pretzels – Reindeer Antlers
The printables have some adorable tags that have a part of the Christmas classic: “Must Be Santa” {Though we may have taken some artistic liberty}. Leah even put the coordinating decoration above the tag so you know which one to attach it to. If you have a family with more than 6 people and each person needs their own part {we hear you threenager} there is a page with blank tags where you can add your own decor element! Maybe Santa needs a pom-pom made of coconut flakes on his hat, or a smile made of pull-n-peel licorice. Do what fits your needs!
If you want to give this as a little gift to your neighbors we suggest finding a cute basket to display everything. We attached the tags to little baggies of the needed decor element with some red twine. Wrap it all up in cellophane, attach the gift tag and go make some days brighter!
